The Artifact Preview Tournament, hosted by Beyond the Summit Nov. 10-11, has announced a respectable line-up of casters and analysts. A roster of seven players and personalities will cover the event as 128 players battle for $10,000.
Hearthstone fans will immediately recognize three big names that dominated the game at different periods of time. Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy, Janne “Savjz” Mikkonen and George “Hyped” Maganzini will all join the desk as analysts to break down strategies and decks between the matches. The three will be joined by Magic: The Gathering veteran Joel Larsson, a 2015 Pro Tour winner.

Three more popular personalities will for the caster line-up, headlined by long-time Dota 2 caster David “Luminous” Zhang. Veteran from five The International events, the American is no stranger to the desk and is perhaps the best person to bridge the card game and Dota 2 communities. Lumi will partner with content creators Fwosh and Swim, the latter recently announcing his transition from GWENT to Artifact.
The Artifact Preview Tournament will be the first glimpse into competitive Artifact. Played in the game’s draft mode, the Gauntlet, the tournament will see players create decks from randomly generated card packs and go through seven rounds of swiss before qualifying for the top 8 single elimination bracket.
