Natus Vincere (NAVI) pulled out of Beyond Epic earlier this month with the goal of working on their problems and adjusting their roster accordingly. Two weeks after they withdrew from the competition, the team waved goodbye to Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian and Vitaliy “so bad” Oshmankevich.

NAVI will enter a new chapter with two young and promising CIS talents joining them in the mid lane and the support four position. Nikita “Young G” Bochko has been into the professional scene for about two years now, and most recently he played for Winstrike. He joins NAVI in the mid lane, replacing MagicaL who has been with the team for almost two years and played with them at The International 2019, the DreamLeague Season 10 Minor, DreamLeague Season 11, The Stockholm Major, and qualified for the later on canceled ESL One Los Angeles Major.

“Together with the players, we considered different options, and it took us some time to find suitable candidates. Young G is a young and strong performer who wants to become the best player in second place. Nikita has enormous potential, which we will try to reveal in the team,” said NAVI’s coach, Andrey “Mag ” Chipenko in the official roster announcement post.

For the position four support, NAVI welcome aboard the former Gambit Esports player, Alexander “Immersion” Hmelevskoy. He will be replacing Vitaliy “so bad” Oshmankevich who joined the team on a trial basis in May this year. Immersion was moved to inactive status inside the Gambit roster in October 2019. Most recently he played under the Team Spirit banner and participated with them this season at MDL Chengdu Major, WePlay! Bukovel Mainor 2020 as well as at multiple online tournaments that took place  this year.

“Immersion is a true professional with a huge pool of heroes and an excellent understanding of the game as a whole. With the advent of Alexander, we got additional motivation, and, importantly, he took on a key role in the team,” said Mag upon Immersion’s addition to the NAVI roster, while the organization thanked both Winstrike and Team Spirit for the professionalism displayed in negotiating the player transfers.
