Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao took no time to rest and hours after Fnatic announced his official departure from the team, he posted a new roster, however, this might just be for the Canadian qualifiers for WESG 2018-2019.

EE-sama is back in the North American region, which is not as surprising as the new line-up he revealed. According to multiple sources, the roster was made by himself, however, it’s unclear under what organization they will be playing or if this is even a final roster for the next DPC season.  Envy teased his fans before announcing the new team with a Twiter post that only said “ArtEEzy”. A few hours later, he made another post saying “ArtEEzy dream dead, blame Arteezy” and revealed afterwards a rather surprising line-up.

Among the players he picked is Peter “Waytosexy” Nguyen who hasn’t been playing on a top tier team for over three years now. The older Dota 2 fans know him since Team Dignitas and Team Liquid 2012-2014 times.

Back in 2012 Waytosexy was on the same Team Dignitas roster with Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling, Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu, Saahil “UNiVeRsE” Arora and Ioannis “Fogged” Loucas. More recently, Waytosexy acted as coach for the post-TI6 Digital Chaos line-up and kept himself in shape playing for an NA stack called Carlton Esports Club. The past DPC season marked one of his former teammates full comeback to the competitive scene, namely Sneyking, who placed this year top eight at TI8 with VGJ.Storm, a feat which perhaps gave Waytosexy an incentive to resurrect his career.

Apart from Waytosexy, Envy recruited at his new team Jio “Jeyo” Madayag, who most recently tried his luck via SEA region and played for Clutch Gamers towards the end of the past season, Kim “Febby” Yong-min who comes from Immortals, and his old time friend and recent coach at Fnatic, Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling.

What makes us believe this should be a roster for the upcoming WESG qualifiers is the fact that all these players are having Canadian citizenship. The LAN portion of WESG Canadian qualifiers will be hosted in Toronto, Canada from 26th to 28th of October.
