Having failed to reach the Upper Division of the first League season in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit, B8 have already said goodbye to one of their players as the team drops to four shortly before the Lower Division begins.

B8 were hopeful of a better year and season in Dota 2 this time around, after last year saw them move from loss to loss, with a plethora of roster changes in hopes of finally finding their footing. However, even after a brilliant victory in their opening series in the decider tournament, B8 suffered two losses in succession, leaving them to fight in the Lower Division of the DPC League Season 1. With that completing just a few days ago, B8 were hit with more tough times as their position 4 player, Enis “5up” Elfki has left the roster.

Confirmed in a post on their Twitter account, B8 thanked the player for his time with the squad and wished him the best moving forward. This leaves B8 with only four players on their roster and a huge hole as the Lower Division series are set to begin in a little over four days. The current B8 roster is:

  • Leonardo “RdO” Fernandes
  • Danil “Dendi” Ishutin
  • Diego Barini “Sexyfat” Santamaria
  • Heitor “Duster” Pereira

While everyone is always excited to witness Dendi play, especially with his new lineup of Brazilian talent, it will be really interesting to see who B8 get to fill their roster in the coming days. With many teams already set and ready for the start of the DPC League Season 1, B8 will have to battle against some huge names if they want a shot at reaching the Upper Division or even the first Major. We will keep you informed on any changes in the B8 squad over the coming days.
