A historical organization in CS:GO, fnatic has been one of the most consistent team at the Majors with twelve top 8 placing in twelve Majors. Three times, the Swedish team also won the trophy, making them the record holder at Majors.
Eliminated for the first time during the New Legends Stage, this is the first time in history that the fnatic brand won’t have the famous legendary status granted to those who make it to the top eight in the prestigious event. A huge disappointment for a team that also contains KRiMZ, one of the two players with olofmeister to have made it into the playoffs of every Major up until this one.
After adding Xizt and draken in the past months, fnatic has now decided to bench one of its most historical players. Robin “flusha” Rönnquist will now move to the bench and the team will look for a new player in the upcoming days and weeks.
flusha has been a part of fnatic since 2013, just months before winning the DreamHack Winter 2013, the first CS:GO Major. He continued his success and was part of what can be considered one of the most dominant team in CS history in 2014/2015. He left fnatic with JW for GODSENT in 2016 although they both returned 6 months later.
fnatic will play with Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom at the ESL One: New York 2018 which take place starting on October 26 and run through October 30. It will be the first LAN appearance for the Belgian player since the European FACEIT Minor London in July.
