In a move that seems to have caught everyone by surprise, Finn “karrigan” Andersen has found a new home in North America. The Danish player who formerly led Astralis and FaZe Clan, two of the top rosters of all time, has joined Envy.
The 28-year-old will join the likes of Noah “Nifty” Francis andJosh “jdm64” Marzano on the new roster. Making room for the renowned in-game leader is Matt “Pollo” Wilson who was thanked for standing in for the organization “over the past couple months,” according to the announcement.
The move is currently a trial run and seemingly only extends until the Americas Minor is completed before any further commitment is made.
We'd also like to thank @PolloCSGO for standing in for us over the past couple months, and wish him the best in future opportunities

Envy managed to qualify for the Americas Minor by defeated Mythic and Rogue 2-1 each. Rogue would get revenge in the StarSeries i-League Season 7 NA Qualifier, however, taking it home 2-0. Envy narrowly escaped relegation as well, defeated cantwinalan 2-1 to secure their place in the ESL Pro League and most likely securing the rosters life.
The Minor will take place on January 22 to 26 in Katowice, Poland. Only two spots are up for grabs for North America and many teams are hungry to move on to the IEM Katowice New Challengers Stage. A third place finish isn’t the end of the road, however, as it will earn the team a spot in the Play-In tournament.
