Owen “smooya” Butterfield and Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer are expected to join forces under TIGER according to reports from DBLTAP & HLTV. The Chinese organization currently sports a completely Mongolian lineup.

The organization made noise when they took home first place in the ESL One: Road to Rio Asian event, taking down China’s top team TYLOO in the final.

This move would leave TIGER in a position where they lose some of their RMR points as they’d be removing two of the players from their Road to Rio success from the lineup. The organization would move from 1600 to just 1600 RMR points. According to HLTV, Bold “ncl” Batsuh and Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga would be the two players stepping down.

Snappi is still under contract to Heroic, however, smooya is currently a free agent and will come free of charge after his three month stint with Chaos came to an end due to the COVID-19 pandemic preventing his return to the United States.

It is expected that Snappi would take over the in-game leader duties, putting to use his extensive experience in the role while smooya continues as the squads AWPer, something he has done quite well for teams in the past.

Expected TIGER CS:GO division:

-Gan-Erdene “dobu” Batbold
-Batbayar “kabal” Bat-Enkh
-Erdenetsogt “erkaSt” Gantulga
-Owen “smooya” Butterfield
-Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer
