c0ntact has officially added Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer to its Counter-Strike lineup. With Snappi’s addition, Nestor “LETN1” Tanić has been moved to the backup role with the organization.
Snappi has been through a gambit recently as he was benched from Heroic before being tied to a move to TIGER alongside Owen “smooya” Butterfield. While Snappi was officially signed to the organization, smooya wasn’t and the organization made the decision to stick with their current lineup. This left him signed to the org and in need of a buyout.
He was able to stand-in for Astralis, however, and played with them throughout their DreamHack Masters Spring run which ended earlier today. He will continue to play alongside the team through June 14th as both Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth remain inactive due to stress and burnout.
Snappi will be looking to elevate the teams fraggers into a more structured team in the hopes of bringing c0ntact into a better position for Flashpoint 2. This move comes shortly after c0ntact added Daniel “djL” Narancic as a second coach for the team.
