Complexity has their eyes set on acquiring Justin “jks” Savage to fill the void left by the departure of Owen “oBo” Schlatter. This information comes via a report from DBLTAP which claims the 100 Thieves player would be departing the lineup (previously Renegades) after four years.
The Australian & New Zealand mix had been the dominant force from the Oceanic region although they spent most of their time competing in the North American division of leagues such as ESL Pro League. jks helped guide the team to victory at a StarLadder i-League Invitational in 2017 and a deep run culminating in a semifinals appearance at the StarLadder Major in Berlin in 2019.
Considered the top player in the lineup, this would be a devastating blow to the 100 Thieves roster while adding some significant performance to the Complexity CSGO division.
The young gun of oBo had been on Complexity throughout several rosters, however, the current global pandemic has seen him stationed in Europe for what seems to have been longer than he was willing. Although this left Complexity in a tough situation in which they’ve utilized a high performing Niels Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen to complete matches, a jks pick up shouldn’t hurt their performance at all.
According to the report Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad has also received number offers from teams but nothing is official as of this time.
