Gen.G has found its fifth player in Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand according to a report from DBLTAP. With BnTeT set to join Gen.G, TYLOO is currently on the hunt for a new fifth to replace its star player.
BnTeT had been a beacon of hope for his region as one of the most skilled players. Having been a member of TYLOO since 2017, BnTeT will be experiencing a fully North American lineup for the first time.
Gen.G announced their foray into CS:GO just last week with the signing of Timothy “autimatic” Ta, Damian “daps” Steele, and Kenneth “koosta” Suen from Cloud9 before revealing Envy’s Sam “s0m” Oh as the rosters fourth player just days later. With the addition of BnTeT, Gen.G gains a very capable fragger alongside a player experienced in in-game leading, having done it for TYLOO in 2018, to perhaps support daps in the role.
Using Hunter “SicK” Mims as a stand-in for the IEM Katowice North American open qualifier, Gen.G managed to earn a spot in the closed qualifier.
TYLOO on the other hand, had struggled to find much success over the last year including a last-place finish at the StarLadder Berlin Major in August and most recently found itself knocked out in the group stage of the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.
